Since our shower is under renovation, we've been showering in the front bathroom, which requires a short hike through a cold, dark house in the morning. I was trying to be nice this morning and let Mark sleep in a little, so attempted to walk back through the bedroom after my shower without benefit of lights. Bad idea. Really bad idea. Thought I was where I wasn't and smashed my face into the dresser, right between the eyes. I'm in pain and will have to spend the day explaining the goose egg, bruising and swelling. Plus it hurts to put on my glasses. What a dork.
Have you ever done anything like that? I'm the poster child for household accidents.

Don't be sad that you wouldn't make a good blind person, that's dad's job. You're the deaf one remember? And you do a great job at it. You can't be good at everything.
