What to do on a holiday weekend

Wow where did the last month go? It's the crazy time of year with our major Volunteer Appreciation event. It turned out amazingly (is that a word?) Rave reviews from all who attended. Couldn't have asked for a more beautiful May evening, which helps when you're planning an outdoor event. Now I'm at the start of a 4-day weekend. Hurrah for time off. Camping anyone? I still haven't used the tent I got for mother's day two years ago. I'm thinking I'm gonna have to go solo if it's ever going to get used, since 1/2 my family doesn't "DO" camping. You would think that part of the mother's day gift would have been at least 4 guaranteed camping trips with no begging required. I just looked up camping on the internet and the list of supplies to take along made me want to go take a nap and turn up the air conditioning.
